Who is Be coaching?
Great to meet you! My name is Barbara Rijntjes and my purpose in life? To unleash potential so we can all make a real impact in life.
Have I always been this clear about my purpose? With over 20 years of experience in the corporate and entrepreneurial sphere, there has been a lot of searching and learning. Passion has always been there, underpinned by clear values that guide me through my career and personal life and over time my real purpose has become crystal clear to me. I am at my best, and happiest, when I can help people to see and unleash their full potential. As a qualified coach, a partner in a consultancy firm, and having started my own businesses, I learned and experienced that when people explore their full potential; organisations thrive. Key to unlocking potential is leaders creating an experience that allows people to be their true selves. This not only applies to existing organisations and teams, but is just as relevant for start-ups too.
Are you starting a new business or initiative?
I challenge you to start with your purpose and your values and not with your product.
And build your organisation around that. It makes all the difference.
I am here for all of who you feel that there is more: more potential, more joy, more performance. I am here to support your success, unleash the potential and create impact.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is coaching?
Sometimes it is easier to explain by saying what it is not.... Coaching is not hiring somebody who will advise you what to do. Coaching is not having somebody else doing the hard work. I follow the International Coaching Federation (ICF) " Coaching is a partnership between coach and coachee in a thought provoking and creative process that inspires coachee to maximise personal and professional potential"
How do I know if you are the right coach for me?
Great question! The match between a coach and a coachee is crucial for success. If this website resonates with you and you feel ready to take your growth to the next level please feel free to reach out to me so we can book a short chemistry call and we can decide after that if it would work for the both of us. No strings attached.

Are you a trained coach?
Another great question! The title Coach is not protected which means that anybody can use it. And although there are many people who are trained by life and they can be great sources of wisdom for you, I consider Coaching to be a profession and value solid training very much.
I am trained and certified by the Co-active Institute which can be considered as the golden standard in the coaching industry.
I am also a member of the International Coaching Federation and accredited as PCC (ICF) which means I have been trained as a professional for more than 125 hours by a certified institute (CTI), have over 500 hours of coaching experience and adhere to the international coaching standards and ethical code. As continuous education and learning is one of my priorities I am at the moment doing a certification in Neuroscience and transformative coaching.
Besides that I of course have my professional education (Master in organisation and management) and many years of leadership trainings. You can read more about my experience here
